Old Hercules — the original town near Refugio Valley — has homes from the 1940s through 1960s. Many still have original galvanized steel water lines. By now, those pipes are clogged with 70 years of rust and minerals. A full repipe transforms your water pressure and clarity in one day.
New Hercules — areas like Hercules Village, Waterfront, and Seashore Drive — have modern PEX plumbing but often suffer from poor original installation: kinked lines, incorrect fittings, and undersized vents. We troubleshoot and fix builder mistakes. Also, tankless water heaters installed without proper descaling maintenance fail early; we offer $119 flush and maintenance.
Hercules’ sewer systems often tie into the massive Pinole Valley interceptor. When that line backs up, the whole neighborhood floods. We install backwater valves to protect your home from city sewer surcharges.

We charge the same service call fee whether you’re in a 1940s cottage or a 2004 McMansion. And we never add a “truck charge” or “fuel surcharge” — that’s just a tax on trust.
Protects your basement or ground floor from sewer backups during heavy rains or main line blockages. Includes permit and city inspection.
We repipe your entire Hercules home from galvanized to PEX in one day — including drywall patching and new shutoff valves.
We flush your tankless heater with food-grade descaling solution and check the heat exchanger for cracks. Includes before/after flow reading.
We test for hardness, iron, pH, and chlorine — delivered same day. Helps decide if you need a softener or filter.

Brandon ClarkTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a great experience with F and F Plumbing. They did everything they said they would do, plumbing work looked great. Passed inspection and even the inspector said how well the plumbing looked.
A backwater valve allows sewage to leave your home but not come back in. Hercules does not mandate it for existing homes, but after any sewer backup, the city strongly recommends it. We install them below grade in your front yard.
Low water pressure at multiple fixtures, brown or red-tinted water when you first turn on the tap, frequent pinhole leaks behind walls, and discolored laundry. If you see any, call for a repipe estimate.
That’s called water hammer — caused by fast-closing valves (dishwashers, washing machines, some faucets). We can install a water hammer arrestor (a small air chamber) at the offending fixture for $99.
Yes — we rotate a Sunday on-call plumber every week. Same flat-rate emergency fee ($199) no matter the hour. Call our emergency line for immediate dispatch.
Absolutely. We install whole-home sediment, carbon, and UV systems. We’ll test your water first and design a system that fits under your kitchen sink or in the garage.
